Mallory Moore
During the day, I work as a full-time content writer for a digital marketing company based in Charlotte, NC. But by night, I’m a full-time cinephile. I love classic musicals, horror, movies about “mad” women, and trashy true-crime documentaries. I also have a special interest in spectatorship theory and the connection between movies and mental health.
I pursued my interest in film studies at the University of Chicago in 2019, where I received an MA in the humanities with an emphasis on cinema and media studies. In 2020, I became a member of the North Carolina Film Critics Association. In addition to writing reviews for my own site, I also contribute regularly to Elements of Madness.
